Blackjack Tournament Rules

Single Table Tournaments - 5Dimes is distinguished by solely focusing on real-time, online blackjack tournaments in both, Single Table “Sit & Go” or Multi-Table play formats.

Our Single Table Tournaments are offered in a variety of options.  You, the player, determine the type of game you would like to participate in prior to start of the tournament.  Options would include the number of hands to be played, the number of decks to be used and the amount of buy-in.  After all players have registered, the game will begin.  Upon completion of the round, the player with the greatest amount of chips is a declared winner and will collect the winnings based on the game criteria, and the game is over.

Single Table Rules:

The tournament will consist of a set number of hands.

A specific number of decks will be used.

Up to eight players can sit at a table.

The entry fee will vary and will be preset.  (ex: range 10 to 100)

All entry fees will be paid out to the participants.

A service fee of 10% will be paid to the house to participate in the event.  (ex: A $10 tournament will have a service fee of $1)

You enter the game by going through the lobby and joining a tournament.

The game will start when the table is full, or at a designated time by the administrator.

If you have entered a game and it does not start within ten minutes of your entry, you may withdraw from the game and your account will be credited back with your full entry fee.

Once the number of hands has been established, the dealer will shuffle and deal one card to each player to determine who gets the “button” or who has to take action first.

Each player may bet between the minimum and the maximum allowed per hand and shall try to accumulate the most chips during the round.

If a player gets disconnected from the game, for any reason, he will automatically continue to make the minimum bet and will always hit on 11 or under and will always stand on 12 or over.  The player may re-enter by going back to the lobby and reconnecting to the game.  He will pick up the game in progress when he re-enters.  If the game ends before re-entry, the player will be scored based on the rules above and could receive one of the prizes.

Multi-Tables Tournaments - 5Dimes is distinguished by solely focusing on real-time, online blackjack tournaments in both, Single Table “Sit & Go” or Multi-Table play formats.

Our Multi-Table Tournaments offer our players the excitement of competing against other players from other tables in an elimination style format.  Players at multiple tables compete at their table.  Tournament criteria are established prior to play.  As play progresses, a designated number of players (winners) move on to the next round, etc.  With 32 players or less, there would be a starting round and a final round.  With 41-128 players, there would be a starting round, a semi-final round and a final round.  With 129-512 players, there would be a starting round, a quarter-final round, a semi-final round and the finals.  With 513 and over players, there would be five rounds.  Once the game starts the rounds will start immediately after all of the tables in the preceding round are complete.

Multi-Table Tournament Rules:

The tournament will consist of a set number of hands.

A specific number of decks will be used.
